It was January 30, 1985 when Leichia Reilly wanted to enjoy a night out with her friends. Leichia, 21, went out dancing at the Pierce Arrow nightclub. The nightclub was very prominent and prestigious at the time, known to be frequented by Buffalo Bills players.
Reilly had arrived at the club with a friend. They had drinks and danced with other familiar people. However, when Reilly’s friend wanted to leave she told her that she was going to stay and catch a ride home with someone else. At 3 a.m., Leichia Reilly was seen leaving the club with Daniel Rose, an off-duty state trooper. Rose would later deny ever being with Leichia Reilly. He called into work the next day and would not cooperate with law enforcement when questioned about his whereabouts. A short time after Reilly’s disappearance Rose was fired from the state police, the reasons for his termination where not made public.
Since Leichia was last seen in the early morning hours her official missing date is January 31, 1985. She was last seen wearing a black jumpsuit, matching red shoes and purse, and a black coat with red trim. At the time of her disappearance she is thought to have weighed about 120 pounds and was 5’5” tall. Reilly has brown hair, brown eyes and freckles. Reilly also has a large scar on her left knee.
If you or anyone you know has any information regarding the disappearance of Leichia Reilly, please contact the New York State Police at 716-759-6831 or 585-343-2200.
